What is your job at Brook Hills?
I’m responsible for campus wide technical support, as well as maintenance and upgrades on all audio, video, and lighting systems.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy the volunteers that I get to work with every week. I also enjoy technical design and system maintenance.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I came to Brook Hills in August of 2005. Prior to that I spent time working at Hunter Street Baptist Church and Student Life, both of which are located in Birmingham, AL.
Where are you from?
Pensacola, FL
Who is in your family?
I married my wife Amanda in November of 2004. We have a little girl named Abby who was born in 2007, and we have another boy who is due in October of 2011.
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
I grew up in a really great loving family with a knowledge of God and the Bible. When I was in the second grade, I began to understand that although I was a good person, I still did things that were sinful. I realized that it didn’t matter that I was generally a good person because I was still sinful. I knew that God, who is perfect, is a loving and compassionate God but also a God of justice. I understood that because of my sin, ultimately I would face God’s judgment and would be eternally separated from God. I placed my faith in Christ alone to be a substitution for the judgment that I really deserved.
What’s your favorite Bible verse?
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:1-2
What is the best place you have ever visited?
I think Chicago is really fun. Maui is beautiful. Quito, Ecuador has some of the best weather I’ve ever experienced.
If you had a super power, what would it be & why?
Time travel. It’s simply the best power to have. The possibilities are endless.

I love anything related to aviation and would like get my license. Along that same line, I enjoy building and flying remote controlled model aircraft.
