What is your job at Brook Hills?
I am the Team Leader for adult small group ministry and community outreach in the Birmingham area.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Seeing Brook Hills worship attendees decide to move into Biblical community and begin to intentionally make disciples in and through their small group.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I joined the staff in February of 2007 from Houston, Texas
Where are you from?
I’m a native of Birmingham, but moved away after my first grade year at Docena Elementary School.
Who is in your family?
The wife of my youth is Robin Stanley. We have two children, Josh and Beth, one daughter-in-law, Holley, and two grandchildren, Brayden and Britton.
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
I trusted in Christ for my salvation at the end of my freshman year in high school, while living in New Jersey. God graciously moved us from the South to New Jersey (right after Woodstock) in order to help me see and understand my desperate need of a Savior and Christ’s sufficiency to be my Savior.
What’s your favorite Bible verse?
Since my high school years, it has always been John 3:30, He must increase and I must decrease.
What was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Probably Petra at Disneyworld, a long time ago!
What is the best place you have ever visited?
The Louvre in Paris
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
At the beach
If you had a super power, what would it be & why?
Flying at supersonic speed- I hate wasting time sitting in traffic, and I despise long trips on hard seats in airplanes.

Ice Cream: Baskin Robbins’ pralines n’ cream or orange creamsicle
