What is your job title & responsibility at Brook Hills?
I help Pastor Torres with administrative tasks of the Hispanic ministry as well as co-teach the youth of the Hispanic church on Sundays.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy that I get to work with people of a different culture on a daily basis.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I came to Brook Hills in February because my wife and I were looking for a home church after moving here from New Orleans.
Where are you from?
I was born here in the U.S. but I grew up in Ecuador were my parents served as missionaries until my last year of High School.
Who is in your family?
My wife’s name is Amanda. We met in college and got married in August 2008.
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
I grew up in a Christian home and came to know Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was eight years old. During middle school and high school I went through a difficult time and was not growing in my relationship with Christ. Even though I was struggling I still knew that Jesus was my Lord and Savior. Finally beginning in my last year of high school and during college my relationship with Christ would start to grow and I could see him working in my life even through all that I had gone through in my teen years.

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18

Going out of the country at least one time.
What is the best place you have ever visited?
Manglaralto, Ecuador
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Somewhere in Europe or Southeast Asia.
If you had a super power, what would it be & why?
Flying. I would love to be able to fly so that I would not have to drive and so I could go anywhere in the world without having to buy a plane ticket.
