What is your job at Brook Hills?
I am responsible, along with my staff, for all of the financial transactions of the church.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love to reconcile our bank accounts. I also love to close out the books each month making sure all of the financial reports are accurate.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
My family and I came to Brook Hills in May of 1991 after we moved to Birmingham from Atlanta.
Where are you from?
I was born in Texas, but lived most of my life in a little town in North Alabama called Arab.
Who is in your family?
I am married to John Adams. We have a son, Stephen (wife, Sherri), and a daughter, Lindsey (husband, Richard). We have three grandchildren (Ashley, Austin, & Paxton)
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
I became a Christ follower when I was 9 years old. At that time I knew that I was a sinner and that Christ had died for my sins, but it was not until I was older that my relationship with God actually began to grow.
What’s your favorite Bible verse?
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
What is the best place you have ever visited?
I will never forget my visit to the Grand Canyon.
If you had a super power, what would it be & why?
I would like to drive a Bat mobile so I could fly over Highway 280 traffic.

If your life was made into a movie, who would be cast as you & why?
I think Sally Fields should play my part because some people say she looks a lot like me.
These are a few of my favorite things…
Candy: My favorite is a Peanut Patty that you can only buy in the Texas and Louisiana areas. My husband buys them for me when he goes there for business trips.
Movies: Shenandoah, Yours, Mine & Ours (the one with Lucille Ball), Sabrina (the one with Harrison Ford) and The Proposal.
Food: I love watermelons, especially the seedless ones.
