Staff Team

Callie P. Resource Coordinator for Global Disciple-Making

What is your job at Brook Hills?
I participate on the Global Team through communications to the faith family, supporting our Pastor of Global Disciple-Making, and equipping our faith family to go on mission.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love helping prep someone for a commissioning service. It just means I get to interview them, hear how God is moving them to another context, and set everything up to encourage them and send them out.

How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I grew up in Birmingham as a teenager, but my family visited Brook Hills in 1990. In college (a long time ago), I was the intern for the Student Ministry, but I have recently come back on staff full time this last year.

Where are you from?
Born and raised in the great city of Hoover, Alabama.

Who is in your family?
My parents – Marlin and Nan Priest. My little sister and her husband – Chris and Mera Price. And my brilliant nephew Liam. Also I have two very cool roommates Jill and Katie.

Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
By God’s grace, I grew up in a family where my parent’s clearly lived out the gospel and taught us the Word. I trusted Christ for my salvation when I was a young girl. God has been gracious to send disciple-makers to pour into my life and to help me grow in faith and know Christ more. I long for others to know Him and for my life to bring Him great glory.

What’s your favorite Bible verse?
I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. Psalm 40: 1-3

What was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
U2 – 360’ Tour

What is the best place you have ever visited?

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The family farm in Hollypond, Alabama.

If you had a super power, what would it be & why?
To travel anywhere in time (past, present and future)

These are a few of my favorite things…
Auburn Football, time at the lake, my camera, my hammock and a glass of ice cold coca-cola.
