What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy spending time in inner city Birmingham meeting with our ministry partners and equipping our members to serve these partners. Another favorite aspect of my job is being able to meet with our leaders and encourage them as they disciple their small groups.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I started as an intern in February 2008 after Graduating from The University of Alabama. At the end of my internship in the summer of 2008, God blessed me by allowing me to stay on full-time at Brook Hills.
Where are you from?
I am from Leeds, Alabama
Who is in your family?
My dad’s name is Ron. I have a twin sister and younger sister, Angela and Laura.
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
At the age of 7, my best friend trusted in Christ. This brought about many conversations with my parents about salvation. Through those conversations, I understood my need for a savior and that my sin separated me from God. So, at the age of 7, I surrendered my life to God and God redeemed and saved me.
What’s your favorite Bible verse?
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. Colossians 1: 27-29
What was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Lecrae and the 116 guys
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Greek Islands
If you had a super power, what would it be & why?
I would be able to fly! Who doesn’t want to fly?

I recommend everyone at some point in his or her life to read Shadow of the Almighty by Elisabeth Elliot. It is a powerful biography of the life of Jim Elliot.
