Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
I became a Christian when I was 8. I didn't do anything horrible by worldly standards; I don't have a huge WOW moment! I was at Vacation Bible School, and I came to an 8 year olds understanding that Jesus was Lord, that he died on the cross for my sins, even though I totally didn't deserve it. I realized that God loves me so much and He wanted a relationship with me so dearly that he sent his ONLY, perfect, sinless Son to die in the most horrible way, on a cross, for me.
In my teenage years, I struggled with whether I really was a Christian, because I had never had a HUGE change in my life. But then God showed me that my story is special; God protected me from many of the evils of this world. His love brought me through everything. I’m not perfect by any means, I struggle with sin daily. If I were perfect I wouldn’t need a savior. God gives me purpose every day.
