With a church of our size, it can be a challenge to get to know other women at Brook Hills. So we are organizing "Together at the Table" where women can sign up, we'll assign them to a hostess, and they eat dinner together on that night!
Find out below how you can either be a hostess or sit at a table on Thursday, June 14, at 6:30pm.
Be a Hostess
As a hostess, you are responsible for picking the place to eat, contacting everyone in your assigned group with the details, and helping everyone feel welcomed when they arrive. There's no pressure to host this in your home. You can eat out at a restaurant (Dutch treat), cook a meal for everyone, or have everyone bring their take-out with them to a specified location. It's up to you as the hostess!
If you would like to be a hostess, please register by June 3. Signing up here also registers you for the event.
We will contact you with your group's names, emails, and phone numbers on Thursday, June 7. Please let us know your meal plans in case we get any questions from ladies in your group, and be sure to have someone from the group post a pic on social media that evening and tag us in it (@brookhillswomen)!
Sit at a Table
Do you wish you could sit down and get to know other women at our church? There are so many wonderful women in our faith family that we would like to introduce to each other, and what better way to do it than around the table!
At "Together at the Table," you sign up to eat dinner at 6:30pm on Thursday, June 14. We will assign you to a hostess with 6-8 other women of various ages and life stages (in your geographic area), and your hostess will contact you with the location and details. You could go out to eat, eat at someone's home, or bring some take-out to a specified location. But wherever you eat, it will be a time to come together, enjoy some food, and share your stories with each other.
Please sign up by Wednesday, June 6, so your hostess has time to contact you with the details. Unfortunately, we will not able to take late registrations after this date.
This event is for women who are college-aged and older in order to encourage conversations and fellowship.
