Each year, we take our seniors on a trip as a first step into the “real” world. We want them to have a taste of what God is doing outside the efforts of our faith family and challenge them to make the most of the opportunities they will have in the fast-approaching new chapter in life. This year, our catalytic event is to join in with what God is doing in and through the Passion conference in Atlanta, GA.

So what is Passion? This year, thousands of 19-25 year-olds will be joining together in the Georgia Dome for three days of challenge, encouragement, and making and impact for the glory of Christ. Passion exists to see a generation leverage their lives for what matters mostthe fame of the One who rescues and restores, and the privilege we have to amplify His name in everything we do. Students will hear from leaders like John Piper, Priscilla Shirer, and Levi Lusko. Worship will be led by Kristian Stanfil, Matt Redman, Crowder, and others. The end goal is to see students connect with their purpose in life (Isaiah 26:8) and then be compelled to to live that out through their pursuits and passions.

We are aware that the senior year of high school is pivotal for our students. This is the place where dreams begin to become a reality and where decisions carry life and world changing impact. We also believe that God has a greater purpose for our lives right now and in the days to come than we could ever imagine. Our prayer is that this event will both inspire and equip our students toward that incredible end!
