We are thrilled about our upcoming camp called Apex, designed for students who have completed grades 9-12. July 26th-29th, our high school students will have an opportunity to be challenged in how they see those God has placed around them in light of the gospel. These four days will be packed with biblical truth and practical insight to help students truly engage. From relationships with peers to those in a professional and academic environment, we want our students to feel empowered and equipped to make an impact at their schools, in their first job, and on their future campuses.  

On Thursday July 29th, we will meet at the student building at 7:00am and make our way to WhiteWater Express outside of Ocoee, TN. We will be staying in cabins and enjoy activities like white water rafting, horseback riding, swimming, ropes courses, paintball, and mountain biking (all students have the opportunity to raft and choose two additional activities). Additionally, we will be providing worship gatherings, practical breakout sessions, and experiences they’ll carry with them for a lifetime. 

The cost of this event is $300, and a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure a spot. Final payments of $200 are due by July 8th, and afterward, the cost will increase to $250. Students will need to bring money for two fast-food meals on the way to and from camp.

MANDATORY:

  1. Every student must have a medical release form on file to attend camp. Please check with McKenzie to see if yours is up to date. 
  2. There is also a waiver form for White Water Express that every student MUST turn in before attending camp. You can download this in the folder listed above.
  3. As a part of what we will be covering during the camp, students will need to complete an assessment tool no later than July 15th. You will receive a link to this assessment in the coming weeks via email.
