Join us this Sunday (9/27) and next Sunday (10/4) from 3:30-5:30pm in Modular 15 at the church for a women's workshop on "Beauty & Brokenness: Addressing Sin in Our Lives and in Community."

In part one of this workshop (September 27), we'll look at the anatomy of sin and why we do it. This involves core desires that drive our behavior, five contributing factors to our brokenness, and three ways we find ourselves in the pit of sin. We'll also talk about guilt and shame and how the Bible addresses these two consequences of sin.

In part two (October 4), we'll focus on how to distinguish between symptoms and the root of our sin, how to fight temptation and renew our minds, and how to make confession and do accountability in a healthy manner.

Ashley Chesnut will teach this workshop. Ashley works on the Local Disciple-Making Team at Brook Hills, has an M'Div from Beeson Divinity School, and has discipled college girls through the church for the past six years.

To register for this workshop, contact Ashley at achesnut@brookhills.org. Walk-ins are also welcome!
