Family: I was born in Mobile, Alabama, and spent most of my childhood in the south. My Dad was called to a church in Roswell, New Mexico, when I was 10. (No, I never saw an alien!) We eventually moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, my Junior year in high school.

I met my husband Rich (born and raised in Albuquerque) at First Baptist Albuquerque. where my Dad was serving as the Interim Worship Pastor. We married on June 27, 1992. We had our first daughter, Savannah, in 1996. In 1998 Rich accepted a job with BellSouth moving us to Birmingham. We became a part of Brook Hills in 1999 and had our second daughter, Caroline, the following year.

What I Enjoy About Serving at Brook Hills: I love the people in our church body - their acceptance and love for each other. My passion for what I do is flammed by our church's desire to do what it takes to reach people, bring them to Christ and develop their relationship with Him.

Interesting and Unusual Facts: I enjoy anything social and interactive-- playing games, having dinner with friends. Relationships are very important to me. I also enjoy teaching and leading Bible Studies for women during the summer.

My Relationship with Christ: My relationship with Christ began at a very early age--five. My Dad was a Worship Pastor for over 17 years so my exposure to the Lord and my need for him was realized early. I remember trying to go to sleep one night and my heart was just heavy with making a decision for Christ. I got out of bed and woke my parents. We knelt by the side of the bed and I prayed to receive Christ. It is still a very vivid memory.

Favorite Thing to Do on a Saturday: Read, watch a movie, or be with family and friends
