Family: My wife Robin and I have been married for 31 years as of February. We have two children, Josh, age 23, and Beth, age 20. I was born in Birmingham, Robin was born in Mobile, Josh was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Beth was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

Ministry Calling: My ministry focus is to give directon to our local disciple-making team (all age groups and adult ministries) to help create disciple-making reltionships and opportunities through our local small group ministries. I love helping people discover and embrace God's purposes and mission for their lives and become actively engaged in becoming a disciple-maker using the gifts He has given them.

What I enjoy about serving at Brook Hills: I love the relationships and friendships; the primacy of the Word in all we do; and that transparency, genuineness, and authenticity are not just buzz words that people use for marketing purposes, but actually describe so many of the Christ-followers here both on staff and in the Faith Family at large.

Interesting and Unusual Facts: I've had a hole-in-one playing golf. I was a Youth Pastor for 15 years. I enjoy reading, playing most sports (especially golf), being at the beach, and spending time with my family. I have a younger brother who is a true rocket scientist and an older brother who is a professor and author.

My Relationship with Christ: I committed my life to Christ as an unchurched high school student while living in New Jersey. Going into my senior year of high school in Mobile, I sensed God calling me to follow Him into some type of full-time christian ministry.
