Job title: Global Disciple-Making Associate
On the Brook Hills staff since: 2007
Birthday: November 16
Family: I am the youngest of two sons. My brother is four years older than me. His name is Jay and he works at a fitness complex in Knoxville, Tennessee. My mother is an amazing woman. She is an RN who has focused on eyes. She is a head administrator over nurses at a surgery center in Knoxville. My dad works for a high end clothing store in Knoxville.
I also have a wonderful soon-to-be wife who lives outside Knoxville and will move here after the wedding. She is a graduate of ETSU with a bachelors degree in social work.
Ministry Calling: My ministry command is to impact the world through making disciples. My calling is to do so through the use of short-term mission efforts and building disciples of all nations through those efforts over the long-term.
What I Enjoy About Serving at Brook Hills: I enjoy the excitement that fills this body of believers. It is awesome to come to work, gather for worship, or serve on the mission field and feel that excitement that filles our brothers and sisters here. I enjoy meeting new friends and having the privilege to serve beside them. I enjoy serving under a pastor who has His Word and the world on his heart.
My Relationship with Christ: My relationship with Christ began when I was in eighth grade. I visited a church with a friend and that is where I trusted my eternity in Christ. Billy Edmonds was the youth pastor there and was the one who led me to Christ. Since then, God has used this disciple-making relationship to impact the world.
