Family: have been married to Kylie for 7 years and am more in love with her today than I ever thought possible (cheesy, I know, but true). She is a wonderful friend, wife, and mother--not perfect--but very close. We have three children born 2003, 2004, and 2007 - Carter, Caden, and Isabel. I like them a lot too!

Ministry Calling: Like all Christ-followers God has called me to make disciples in all nations. Specifically He has called me to teach and preach His Word for the glory Christ. Currently I'm overseeing and providing leadership for the Small Group ministry at Brook Hills. In this role I have the honor of encouraging and discipling new and existing Small Group leaders as they make disciples in and with the Small Groups they lead.

What I Enjoy About Serving at Brook Hills: I enjoy serving with any faith family that genuinely seeks to obey and glorify God. At Brook Hills not only do I get to do just that, I believe this body of believers is rapidly becoming a true New Testament church functioning the way the New Testament instructs and carrying out the mission of Christ the way He commanded!

Interesting and Unusual Facts: I am an only child (so sad - but Kylie and I are making up for it with a big family; we plan to adopt some day too), I perfectly fit the old adage "jack of all trades, master of none"--though I'd really like to be a "master" of at least one some day; I love stories--whether it's watching a movie or listening to someone's testimony--I'm thinking of writing one.

My Relationship with Christ: God struck down my pride when He showed me through His Word that I couldn't gain His favor on my own. I was terrified. I confessed my sinfulness, asked Christ to save me from God's wrath against my sin, and trusted Christ as Lord. Even at the age of 8, God granted me an indescribable peace through His saving grace in Christ. He has been faithful to continue pouring out undeserved blessings in my life. I continue seeking Him knowing that if He had not wanted me I would not want Him. He is my Lord and Savior; I am His servant and son forever.

Favorite Movie of All Time: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Favorite Musical Group or Artist: Steven Sivley (sorry Jim)

Favorite Sports Team: University of Kentucky Basketball Team

Favorite Thing to Do on a Saturday: Play with my kids (Kylie too)

Favorite Scripture: Ephesians 2:1-10

Last Thing I Do Before Going to Bed: Anything from checking stocks to reading to brushing my teeth to rocking a baby to sleep

A Historical Figure I Would Like to Meet: Elijah

In High School I Was Most Likely to Be: Spending money on my girlfriend (wish I could have some of that back)
