Family: Charles and I have been married for 52 years, we have four children, Eugenia, a retired school teacher, Carol, a medical transcriptionist, Kenneth, a superintendent for a commerical construction company in Texas, where they build Chili's Restaurants, and Tammy who is a registered nurse in Meridian, Mississppi. We have three grandchildren, Brian, Shannon and Jessica.

Ministry Calling: I am coordinator for workers at the welcome desk. I also help in the prayer ministry.

What I Enjoy About Serving at Brook Hills: I enjoy being able to help people find their place when they come to the welcome desk. I love meeting new people and trying to make a difference in their lives. I have made many friends here at Brook Hills through the ministry of the welcome desk. I also sing in the Celebration Choir.

Interesting and Unusual Facts: I love playing putt-putt golf. I have won many trophies. I was course champion at the Putt America course in Roebuck in 1999, I beat Charles out, he came in second. I have also been runner-up a couple of years. I love to crossstitch and I also do scrapbooking. I love being able to sing when we have the Celebration Choir.

My Relationship with Christ: I became a christian July 1950 I was 13 years old. I realized at that time that I neede to make a decision to live a life committed to Christ. I still have a lot of growing to do in my relationship to Christ.

Favorite Movie of All Time: It's a Wonderful Life

Favorite Musical Group or Artist: The Carpenters

Favorite Sports Team: University of Alabama

Favorite Thing to Do on a Saturday: Spend time with my two daughters that live in town.

Favorite Scripture: "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

Last Thing I Do Before Going to Bed: Brush my teeth and take my medicine.
